Thermoelectric study of the time-dependent resonant level model

We study the non-interacting time-dependent resonant level model mimicking a driven quantum dot connected through leads to two electronic reservoirs held at different temperatures and electrochemical potentials. Using scattering approach, we provide analytical formulas of particle currents, heat input driving power under wideband limit approximation. also derive Landauer for corresponding time-integrated quantities when perturbation applied on is finite duration. Then, focus case single square pulse, benchmark our results against numerical ones that are valid beyond limit, perform simulations smooth pulse periodic train. Finally, discuss whether efficiency device in stationary Seebeck configuration can be enhanced by potential. find numerically transient increase observed some cases eventually canceled out long times.
